Camboya - Sanctions against strike action (2013)

In September 2012, Rong Cchun, President of the Cambodia Confederation of Unions (CCU) as well as of the Cambodian Independent Teachers’ Association (CITA), was charged with inciting Tai Yang Factory workers in Ang Snuol to go on an illegal strike. 4,000 Workers had gone on strike after management had refused to negotiate with them.
