Honduras - SitraStar president threatened and harassed

The executive of the Sindicato de Trabajadores de Star (SitraStar) reported that the union’s president, Waldin Banegas, was subjected to threats, as well as being harassed, persecuted and kept under surveillance at the Star EPZ factory and at home. The trade union also denounced that the owner of the Zip El Porvenir Industrial Park, Nicolás Chain, had publicly expressed his anti-union position.
